Their music is sometimes atmospheric and melodic. At other times it takes you from a quiet whisper to a fury of rock guitars that push the boundaries of popular music. With their consistent touring of the US and Europe, they have performed at festivals and clubs for thousands in 10 different countries. Their evolving mix of melodic guitar driven rock and energetic live performances, continue to win the attention of fans and critics the world over.

Luna Halo was started in 2001, when Nathan Barlowe set out to persue something that mixed honest lyrics with musical integrity. After several member changes, the line up was complete. With the addition of Aaron Jenkins (bass), Chris Coleman (drums) and Nathan's brother Cary Barlowe (guitar), who had just graduated from high school, they immediately began writing, recording, and touring.

With influences ranging from Queen, Nirvana, and Muse it is no wonder the band has developed a sound all there own. You can hear elements of all of those bands, but they manage to not sound like any one of them. "We want to write good songs that will stand the test of time, and tour as much as possible, because playing these songs live is why we started this" says Nathan.

Every once in a while a band comes along that excites and inspires you. And rarely, you find a band that creates something that moves you from the inside. This is that band.

The future looks bright for Luna Halo as they continue to tour and will enter the studio to record a full length release in 2004.
