Album Review

Most people have no idea that Seven Day Jesus has two albums on the market. Their debut, The Hunger, was released on 5Minute Records, and basically got lost on the shelf. A sad story for another wonderful album from this band. Unlike their follow-up sophomore project, The Hunger shows the band in a more darker, rougher way. Their lyrics deal with issues such as rape, hatred, and ignorance, while their music shows no signs of a pop band in town. Their rock is heavy, but Brian's voice shines through, giving a wonderful balance to the sound. What reaches our and grabs you on this album is the lyrics. They are so deep and beautiful that you get lost reading them over and over again. A strong debut from a band that continues to be one of our favorites. Find this one today! Again, you won't be disappointed. We give this album an A+.
